The Bank’s Corporate Project Process utilizes Project Management Institute (PMI) standards and systematic deliverables that serve as audible controls.  A purpose-built portfolio management application, which is built upon a SharePoint infrastructure, provides an automated tool to provide transparency into status and execution reporting.   As a result of heightened security requirements and a Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) designed to accommodate FFIEC requirements, internal security/farm compliance and support the SharePoint migration to version 2016, plus an application upgrade, the role will:
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Ensure the PMO Server farm is compliant with FRB’s InfoSec and server operations policies.
  • Attend Change Approval Board (CAB) meetings and inter-department meetings to ensure compliance steps are met.
  • Manage ServiceNow Change Requests and resolution process end-to-end
  • Apply SharePoint patches & application software updates to the PMO farm
  • Interact with application vendor regarding issues and best practices
  • Monitor & optimize server farm for best performance
  • Light- weight development based on  demand
  • Collaborate with PMO operations on necessary custom configurations & SharePoint best practices and process management to ensure compliance and alignment to regulatory requirements.
  • Requires knowledge of the Microsoft Development Network, associated tools, integration technologies, data and data sources in a variety of formats.  
  • Compliance SharePoint administrator and support. 
  • MS SQL server and related responsibilities, integrations and production support liaison. 
  • InfoPath forms and integration to SharePoint design and utilization production support. 
  • SharePoint Designer workflows production support and compliance. 
  • Support of Project Management practices
  • Support of MS Office applications as they relate to the PMO processes, usage, and SharePoint integrations. 
  • Use of development tools just as JQuery/JavaScript, SharePoint Client Object Model, REST API and PowerShell as they related to the SharePoint environment, PMO processes, plus required security and compliance requirements. 
 
Qualifications
  • Four Year degree or equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications.   
  • Banking background a plus.
  • Microsoft Certified Professional/Solutions Developer certification referred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SharePoint operations requirements including patches, optimization and information security requirements.   
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio, and SharePoint Designer, Visual Basic, SQL Server, .net, Visual Studio, and web development.  
  • Takes initiative and to work with and across teams.  
  • An analytical and adaptive thinker, able to work and conduct duties in a production support environment.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and handle competing deadlines.  
  • Can effectively cope with change.
