Facets Configuration Management Consultant

OVERVIEW
 
Position is Configuration Facets Management 
 
Primary Skills: working knowledge and hands-on technical experience in
-   Answer, evaluate and prioritize incoming telephone, voicemail and email requests for assistance.
-   Provide customers with a single point of contact for both technical and customer service related issues.
-   Manage customer expectations appropriately and provide regular updates on open issues.
-   Interface directly with the product development group when necessary.
-   Carefully document activities and customer interactions to ensure accurate call tracking.
-   Document solutions and publish to the external knowledge base.
-  Work with Windows and UNIX operating systems as well as other operating systems
-  Troubleshoots, installs, and maintains operating system software and related hardware devices
-  Monitors system performance and makes adjustments
-  Formulates sound business solutions and define requirements for development teams
-  Communicates effectively with management and technical resources

 
TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT
-   Facets versions 4.31, 4.51
-   Facets Extension Architecture (XCOM, EFF,XEF) - also part of FXI Core
-   Facets Batch Architecture (including Facets Letter Server)
-   Facets Reporting
-   Facets e-Business Suite - eService, eEnroll, eBill
-   Facets data domains e.g. Claims, Provider, Member/Subscriber, Plan, Accounting etc.

EXPERIENCE
 
-   5 + years technical support experience interacting with internal customers
-   Able to communicate effectively with customers of all sizes and experience levels
-   Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-   Effective team player with experience working in a collaborative environment.
-   Must be able to work within defined procedures and within the schedule provided.
-   Strong customer service skills with a high level of professionalism.
-   Must be able to work in high stress or complex situations without sacrificing customer service or attention to detail
-   Requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
 
BA or BS in computer science preferred but not required
5 + yrs in IT / application support
